Karime helped me plan what might be the best day of my life.

I can not say enough good things about Karime and her crew! I planned this trip several months in advance and from the very beginning Karime helped me plan what might be the best day of my life. My son caught fish after fish thanks to the knowledge and experience of our guides Miguel and David. We also enjoyed the incredible Play Amor and even snorkeling at the best private beach. We will continue to book with Karime each time we return to Sayulita.

Bad weather! Should not have gone out

Karime is a nice person so sorry to write a bad review, but she sent us out--an older group--on a day with whitecaps and swells. We crashed and splashed around for 4 hours, no snorkeling or swimming and unable to even eat the fruit and drink the drinks she sent with us. Another tour operator said you had to watch the weather, and Karime said it was usually smooth in the morning but it was rough from the very beginning. We would have gone another day. It was unacceptable and inexcusable to send us out on a day like that. I'm not the kind of person who asks for a refund but it was not enjoyable at all.

Highly recommend!

We recently used Karime Tours for a very pleasant December outing - leaving from Sayulita to visit the Islas Marietas. Along the way we saw a number of whales, visited the two islands, walked briefly on the beach of one and then finished with some brief snorkeling. Light snacks and drinks were provided. Karime is a small but effective operation that features a very responsive staff (We communicated mostly through WhatsApp). The boat was fairly small, which was very much to our liking. There were just four of us, but I suspect they can accommodate slightly larger groups. Do come prepared as even on a nice sunny day, it was getting cold on the boat by the time we got back to Sayulita. Highly recommend!

Great morning on the water

Easy WhatsApp communication beforehand. Short walk from their office to the Sayulita beach and their boat. Fascinating to watch the tractor ballet of swinging the boat around twice and the launch push. We did a three hour trip with Ilan our guide and David our captain. The boat is the same one in their photos but in the photos I had not noticed that there were actual seats for us, which made for a comfortable ride. We went south along the coast with Ilan providing commentary to a snorkel spot that was perfect - calm water, in the sun for great viewing, private, and lots of underwater rocks for the fishies. Ilan jumped in with us and stayed with us the entire time as we toured the area. Saw lots of colorful fish and several schools of fish. My wife had physical challenges getting back up the ladder (common for her), so David skillfully beached the boat through the rocks so that she could easily step in. Great time, great team!

Great experience!

Great experience! The woman we messaged with over WhatsApp gave prompt and helpful responses. It was 2 people on a 3 hour trip to a surfing beach. The two guys that took us out on the boat were very friendly and really accommodating. We saw some whales in the distance, and even though we weren't on a whale watching tour and we were at the end of our time, they took us right up to them so we could see the whales for no extra change. Really great company & experience!
