Casa Kukana Estate

Casa Kukana Estate in Sayulita has 3 bungalows which are perfect for groups up to 10 people, with 5 bedrooms total.  The Moroccan Bungalow sleeps 6 with three master suites overlooking the ocean and Jungle. The English County Bungalow has one bedroom and sleeps 2 adults and a child. (or small adult) Casa Ganesh is a brand new unit with gorgeous jungle views and sleeps 2. So in total, the estate will sleep 10 adults and 2 small children. All units are separated by private tropical gardens!  

The space:

Below is some more information on my property and please take a look at my web page to see more pictures of the views, gardens, pool and inside the bungalows. Let me know if you want to book it and if you have any questions. You have the whole property to yourselves, which is 2 1/2 acres of gardens, and views of the world.

It is a 6 to 8 minute walk along the road into town. If you don't like to walk than I suggest you rent a golf cart which is very reasonable now, around $25 USD. I can set it up for you before you get here. Everyone loves them and it is great as you can get to the beach in a few minutes and into the center of town. Especially nice at night when you want to go out for dinner and shopping and don't want to walk home.

The 3 bedroom Moroccan Bungalow is perfect for three couples. It is a very comfortable and spacious bungalow with three bedrooms with King size beds and three bathrooms. The upstairs has bedroom has two bedrooms and bathrooms.   Also upstairs is the kitchen, dining room that will seat 9 people , large couch and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the sea. Wrapped around the front of the bungalow is also an large deck where you can sit and relax. There is a apple T.V. and DVD player upstairs as well.

The Moroccan downstairs bedroom has a King Size and the bath ensuite and is completely separate from the upstairs area.  There is a lounge area outside the bedroom with a large build in couch and also table and chairs to have lunch or dinner.  The Barbeque is also on this level on the terrace.  

The bathroom has an amazing ocean view. It is nice as you can spend time down stairs on the terrace verses being in the upstairs of the Moroccan, and have your own private area. The downstairs suite is also Air conditioned. The King size bed can be divided into two twin beds as well.

The English Country Bungalow is a lovely one bedroom bungalow with a Matrimonial size bed with a mosquito net overhead. There is a dining area, a large built in couch (large enough for one person to sleep on) and a spacious bathroom with a rock waterfall that flows into the tub. It also has a apple T.V., and DVD player.(we have a selection of movies to choose from). It has a kitchen which includes a mediumsize fridge, toaster oven, two burner gas stove , coffee maker, blender (for those margaritas) and pots and pans, dishes and everything else you need for cooking your meals if you so choose. I have just added a new terrace for the English Country which is a great place to go and have your morning coffee and has a lovely view of the ocean and gardens. The English Country also has A/C.

Casa Ganesh Bungalow is a charming brand new one-bedroom bungalow perfect for one or two people. In the living space, there is a sofa bed as well. There is a large deck with a palapa roof facing the jungle. It is surrounded by beautiful flowers and jungle views. Perfect little family getaway with stunning grounds and views, a 10-minute walk to town.
The house manager Santiago and Suzannah his wife clean daily, (except Sunday) and will take excellent care of your every need.

We now have a lovely pool as well, with a Bali Bungalow on the grass platform, where you can sit and relax. There are built-in couches, wifi internet, and connections to plug in your iPod, computer, etc. It is a great place to relax and read a book or work on your computer. 

There are also lawn chairs and umbrellas on the grass platform, next to the pool to relax on and look at the sea and the town of Sayulita.
It is a five to eight minute walk to town and the local beaches...and if you want privacy you can walk back towards the jungle from my place to Playa de los Muerto's a great beach for swimming, or a 10 minute walk to Carricitos which is a totally incredible place to spend the day....big pools in the rocks to swim in and if you want to sun bathe it is a totally hidden and secluded beach. It is the beach that we always swim at, and we have lived here for a long time....If you do not like to walk or exercise I suggest that you rent a car or a golf cart.

If you are into surfing Sayulita is great for beginners and intermediate... but there are lots of great surf spots near by that we can arrange for you to go for all levels of surfing. There are great Jungle walks and you can go on and you can rent bikes as well. There are also jungle tours for those adventurers ones.
Sayulita now has many more new restaurants to choose from, your local little taco stands to Argentinian food, Chinese food, Italian food, sushi bar, Vegetarian restaurant and Don Pedro's which is a five star restaurant for that night when you want to take your partner out to eat something is a very beautiful restaurant on the ocean under a large palapa and very romantic.
