Guaranteed Norwalk!!
Sauylita is a quaint Mexican town. The people are friendly and our accommodations were amazing! However of the 32 in our group, no-one left unscathed my Norwalk. Everyone lost at least one day to fever, chills and being stuck to the toilet. We talked to many others who had experienced the same illness. The reviews are full of horror stories of people being infected. I wish I had reviewed them first.

It doesn't get any better
We have stayed at Los Defines twice now and have had a wonderful time both visits. You can't beat close to town and on the beach. Add to it that the town is Sayulita and who could ask for anything more?

Group stay at Playa Amarosa and Rosarela was perfect!
We brought four families (14 people) to the Los Delfines complex and had a great time -- the two casas were more than enough space for all of us, and very well equipped. Very close to the village center, yet far away enough to feel very private. Los Delfines is on the beach, too. Perhaps most importantly, the owner and managers were extremely responsive, making it every part of our stay easy and relaxing. We had a great, great week here.

Perfect poolside paradise!
Casa Rosalera was amazing! From communication with the owner Mark to meeting the manager and other owners in the complex giving us recommendations, we were armed with all the details about Sayulita. Having never been there, our group enjoyed the poolside spot just steps from the beach. Amenities were great and the cleaner was awesome as well!

Only note is that the wifi is pretty slow and spotty, so don't expect to use it much. Its a blessing though as we all turned our phones off and just enjoyed the sun. :)

Would absolutely stay here again, thanks Mark!

Playa Amorosa - most relaxing vacation yet!
This was our second trip to Sayulita but our first staying this close to the beach. It was amazing to be able to see and hear the ocean from our villa and wander down for a look whenever we wanted.
The grounds were beautiful and the pool was always clean and a perfect temperature to cool down. The villa was very clean (some expected sugar ants) but we had several critter visitors which made our kids nervous (cockroaches and spiders the size you never see in Canada!).
The cleaning, maintenance and security staff were all very friendly and did wonderful work.
The double shower in the master bedroom was a surprise and quite a treat! The internet connection was excellent and allowed streaming easily.
Having treated water to drink was also great. We ate out every night and the kids' favourite was Pizza Venezia, just down the street.
It was very helpful and fun to learn more Spanish for this trip. We used itranslate app - free from iTunes- and learned basics like hello, good morning, i'm sorry, how much does this cost, do you have any X, and names for amounts of money. It made a difference to us to show that we were at least trying to communicate in the local language.

Playa Amorosa
We stayed at Playa Amorosa for a week in May and it was fantastic. The house was clean, well appointed and perfectly located (just a few minutes walk to the main part of town). I like being so close to town, but far enough away to escape the slew of beach vendors if we wanted a quieter day on the beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to friends.

Not Puerto Vallaratta!
We stayed in Sierra Azule after 2 weeks in PV. What a difference. We really enjoyed the small town feelings and ability to walk everywhere we went. The beach vendors were a pain but everybodys has to eat! Met the owners who are very gracious hosts. We will be back..................

Most relaxing vacation I've had in a long time!
I've been to many places in Mexico and have to say this is on the top of my list. Los Delfines provided all the comforts of home and more. The people were very welcoming and friendly and I can't wait to visit again.

Great Group Getaway
I've traveled several times all over Mexico, but this was my first time in Sayulita, and I'm in love! As a group (6), we stayed in Playa Amorosa. It's spacious, clean, cozy, and provided everything we needed to ensure our vacation was relaxing and memorable. The large covered patio was brilliant for afternoon drinks and sunsets. The pool, just out the front door, is a nice place to cool off, yet the beach and ocean are steps away for daytime relaxing. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away, surfing lessons are down the beach, jungle walks up the street. We will be back for sure!
