Matiz Mariscos: Seafood Restaurant in Sayulita is an open air restaurant with great ambience, offering a menu highlighting fresh, local seafood prepared in both Veracruz & Sinaloa styles. Enjoy the great ambiance in the restaurant or sip on a delicious craft cocktail at the bar or a frefreshing agua fresca.

Head chef Jose Osbaldo Pucheta Nava curated the menu to represent a fusion of Mexican flavours with fresh local seafood. Chef Jose Osbaldo studied in Spain at culinary school and has been working professionally as a chef since 2010. After culinary school, Jose Osbaldo came back to bring his knowledge and passion for cooking to Mexico.

Matiz Mariscos offers a full bar with excellent Tequila, Rum, and Vodka. Enjoy unique craft cocktails or sip on a locally crafted beer. The bar offers as a relaxing setting with comfortable chairs and cozy ambiance and decor.

Matiz Mariscos in Sayulita is located inside Plaza Ágora, between Calles Marlin and Delfin on your way to the main beach. Enjoy dinner Monday-Sunday from 1pm - 8pm. Matiz is closed on Tuesdays.

Perhaps the best in Nayarit!?!? This is ART.

Talk about legit. Hans will be a Michelin man soon!! Amazing. Best margaritas ever. Try spicy watermelon. Food… over the top. Best Agua chile ever. Service is exceptional. Presentation amazing. SO MEMORABLE!!!

Incredible spot by the water. Tuna tostada, shrimp aguachile, tuna tartar were all fabulous. Price incredible. Mango daq, and passionfruit marg were bomb.

YUP YUP YUP COME AGAIN!

Came here two nights in a row, you cannot beat a 60 pesos tuna tostada with that taste! Also loved the tuna tar tar and the aguachille verde. Will be back here before I leave!
