2. Birthdate/age: February 6th 1967. I am 41 years old.

3. Born in Sayulita? If not when did you first come to Sayulita? No, I was born in Tepic, Nayarit. I am very proud to be from the state of Nayarit, it's a beautiful place to live. I first came to Sayulita in 1994. I was hired by Ejido president Mr Epifanio Cruz at that time to make a video of Sayulita and the area to promote tourism. I like the vibe Sayulita had. I loved Sayulita and I had it in my head that one day I would live here.
3. Nació en Sayulita? No, nací en Tepic, Nayarit. Soy orgulloso de ser del estado de Nayarit, es un lugar hermoso donde vivir. La primera vez que llegue a Sayulita fue en el año 1994. Me contrato el presidente ejidal Don Epifanio Cruz, en esa época para grabar un video de Sayulita y la área para promocionar el turismo. Me gusto la vibra que tenia Sayulita. Me encanto Sayulita y lo tenia siempre en mente que algún día viviría aquí.
4. Education level: I was studying to become an accountant at the University of Nayarit, however I decided it wasn't for me and I dropped out. After leaving school I moved to the United States from 1985 to 2000 and that is where I became involved in a career in film and video production.
4. Nivel de educación: Estaba estudiando para ser contador en la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit, pero decidí que la contabilidad no era para mi así que deje de estudiar. En el año 1985 hasta 2000 fui a vivir en Estados Unidos y allá es donde empecé a involucrarme en una carera de producción de cine y televisión.
5. Family history & information: All of my family is from Tepic. Even though I've travelled and lived in other places, I feel at home in Nayarit. My wife and children are still living in Tepic. I have an 11 year old son and a 15 year old daughter who go to school in Tepic. I go back every weekend or at least once a week to see my family.
5. Vive con su familia? Toda mi familia es de Tepic. Aunque he viajado a otras partes, me siento en casa en Nayarit. Mi esposa y mis hijos siguen viviendo en Tepic. Tengo un hijo de 11 anos y una hija de 15 anos quienes estudian la escuela en Tepic. Regreso a ver a mi familia cada fin de semana o al menos una vez a la semana.
6. Employment/business history: I have been in the production industry for 18 years. In 2000, I opened my own production company. In 2007 I was living in Puerto Vallarta and I decided once and for all to escape the city life and the traffic and come to Sayulita where I had wanted to come to live since I first saw Sayulita. I opened up Senor Camaron Restaurantin December of 2007 and decided to take a break from the production business. I still have my company and people working for me, but I am taking more time away from that business and spending more time here at the restaurant in Sayulita. I enjoy meeting all the people who come in to Senor Camaron as well as the people from all over the world who come to Sayulita.
6. Empleo/Negocio/Ocupación: He estado en el negocio de producción por 18 anos. En 2000 abri mi propia compañía de producción. En 2007 estaba viviendo en Puerto Vallarta y decidí que querría escapar la vida en la ciudad y el tráfico y venir a vivir en Sayulita donde siempre quise vivir desde la primera vez en que conocí Sayulita. Abrí el Señor Camaron en Diciembre de 2007 y decidí tomar un tiempo de la producción y dedicar más tiempo al restaurante aquí en Sayulita. Me gusta conocer a la gente que viene a Senor Camaron y conocer a toda la gente que viene a Sayulita de todos lados.
7. One positive change you have seen in Sayulita? I think it's positive that people are conserving the town the way it is; a small fishing village. The town and beaches have been kept clean and there haven't been big hotels going up or beaches made private.
7. Algún cambio positivo que haya observado en Sayulita? Creo que es positivo que la gente esta conservando el pueblo como un pueblo pescador. El pueblo y las playas se conservan limpios y no han construido grandes hoteles ni playas privadas.
8. One negative change you have seen in Sayulita? One negative change would be the prices for land and properties have gone up so drastically that it's difficult to purchase property here in Sayulita now. Prices in general have increased in Sayulita and it's becoming more expensive to live here.
8. Algún cambio negativo que haya observado en Sayulita? Un cambio negativo seria el precio de la tierra y propiedades ha aumentado drásticamente y es difícil de comprar propiedad aquí en Sayulita ahora. Los precios en general han aumentado en Sayulita y es mucho más caro vivir aquí.
9. How do you imagine Sayulita in 10 years? I believe Sayulita will still be the same charming little town, only with more people and more tourists coming to visit and vacationing here.
9. Cómo imagina Sayulita en 10 años? Creo que Sayulita será igual a como esta ahorita, seguirá siendo el pueblo encantador pero con mas gente y mas turistas vacacionando aquí.
10. Do you have a recommendation for the people of Sayulita? The people of Sayulita need to help conserve the beaches and keep the town clean. I would like to see the downtown area of Sayulita become a pedestrian only area. I hope that Sayulita never becomes commercial with big hotels, timeshares, and department stores.
10. Alguna recomanidación o comentario que quiera hacer a la gente de Sayulita? La gente de Sayulita debe ayudar a conservar las playas y el pueblo limpios. Me gustaría que algún día la área del centro fuera para pietones solamente. Espero que Sayulita nunca sea comercial con grandes hoteles, tiempos compartidos ni centros comerciales.
