The concept of Latitude 20 Sayulita developed as Eileen Loftus and Dennis Johnson realized that all of their favorite places to travel were on Latitude 20. "It was because of the food," shared Eileen. The menu items at this restaurant were then developed based on culinary styles along Latitude 20, focusing on a fusion of Mexican, Caribbean, and Asian. One will see the influence of Thailand, Vietnam, Hawaii, Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and of course, Mexico, in the selection of food. Some dishes from these regions can always be found on the menu, while others you will find as specials.

Latitude 20 continues to carry customer favorites, such as pad Thai, coconut curry, and mesquite smoked ribs, from former restaurant, Don Chow. Current favorites also include the tuna carpaccio and the fresh pan seared tuna, which is purchased from the La Cruz fish market daily. There are also vegetarian options, such as lasagna, which is gluten free, since eggplant is used in place of pasta

"Our mission is delicious, mouthwatering food, great service, and affordable prices in a clean, comfortable environment," said Dennis and Eileen. Will Estes, a Sayulita local adds,"The location is very convenient, the restaurant is upscale, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are also very affordable, even for a local.”

Latitude 20 Satulita also offers a large selection of signature cocktail drinks, including one appropriately named Latitude 20. This cocktail is made from ginger liquor, smoky mescal, and hibiscus aqua de fresca. "All of our infused liquors are made in-house, as well as the agua frescas, for unique, fresh specialty drinks," said Dennis. The restaurant also offers an interesting selection of wine that includes options from Italy and South Africa. A variety of beer styles are also offered, including an imperial tequila ale.

Every Monday night there is open mic from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eileen and Dennis are currently auditioning musicians to find the perfect person/group to match the ambiance of Latitude 20 Sayulita. In doing so, Dennis and Eileen will match up the energy of each night. On Sundays, one can watch NFL games and Canadian hockey games can also be seen on the televisions.

Latitude 20 Sayulita hosts parties up to 65 people and also offers catering.  For more information, contact Latitude 20 Sayulita here.
