Sayulita River Cleanup: June 20th, 8-10 AM

The rains are about to start and our river is full of garbage! If you haven’t walked down the river lately you may not realize how dirty it truly is. There are hundreds of plastic bags, bottles, dead animals, old rusted cars, and appliances, amongst a whole lot of other crap that need not be there.

Once the heavy rains start all this trash will end up in the ocean.

This affects all of us. This is where we swim; this is where much of our food comes from. All of this trash contaminates the water and can lead to serious health concerns for both the fish and for us.

If you would like to help us clean up our river, there are several ways you can contribute your time and energy.

To successfully clean the river we will need:

- People to help pick up the trash
- Money for plastic globes & garbage bags
- Prizes for volunteers

Clean up day is June 20th from 8am-10am (Meeting point Om Yoga Sayulita) ALL WELCOME

Special bags will be provided for pick up along with gloves and sticks for picking garbage.

Please bring as many friends as you can.
