New Pedestrian Bridge in Sayulita.

A new bridge is under construction across the Rio Sayulita right next to the waste water treatment plant. As most of you know, this river crossing is almost impassable by foot from July through December due to the rainwater backup.

The new bridge spans the entire width of the arroyo and is approximately 3.5 meters above the riverbed. Construction is expected to be completed by mid June.

The total cost for the bridge is $250,000 pesos ($23,150 USD). A private donation from a local Sayulita property owner has paid for the entire project. The village of Sayulita thanks you!
