With Sayulita Life you never pay more—this owner will match or beat any other advertised rate.

Prices are in USD. We have a 3 night minimum. Holidays we have a 7 night minimum.

There will be a 3% processing fee for credit cards. Fee will be waived for Zelle or Venmo payments.

Payment - An initial deposit payment equal to 50% of the total is required to make a reservation. The balance due, plus a $500 security deposit hold, is due 45 days prior to arrival. The security deposit hold, which is just a hold on the account, not a charge, will be refunded within 20 days after departure if the premises are left in the same condition as upon arrival and the terms of this agreement have been met. Guests may satisfy the security deposit requirement by leaving credit card information on file.

Cancellation Policy

One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation and the payment was made by Zelle, Venmo or check. One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges less $100 to cover our credit card fees will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation and the payment was made by credit card. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

The space

CASA BRAVA has welcomed hundreds of guests through its doors since 2011. We purchased the house in March 2023 and are now the new owners of this amazing tropical getaway. If you have stayed at Brava before you will also appreciate that Laura, the house manager, continues to run the day-to-day operations of the house without skipping a beat.

Casa Brava is a stunning modern home perched high above the laid-back surf town of Sayulita. Its sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the jungle, and the city are simply breathtaking! And the spectacular sunsets from the roof, the decks, the pool or the hammocks are sure to stay etched in your memory forever!

Casa Brava consists of 3 units and can accommodate a total of 10 people should you wish to rent the entire property.
- MAIN HOUSE (2 bedrooms; king beds, 2 bathrooms, private infinity pool)
- GUEST HOUSE (1 bedroom; king bed and queen air mattress, 1 bathroom, private plunge pool)
- STUDIO (2-story loft; king bed and twin air mattress, 1 bathroom, private balcony)

When you decide to break free from the magnetic pull of this tropical oasis you’ll discover that it’s only a 10 minute walk into town or to the beach where plenty of eating, drinking, shopping, surfing and people-watching options await.

Our English-speaking manager will answer your questions and help with all of your needs. Let us arrange transportation from the airport. Want to have a private cook come in to prepare Mexican meals one or two days that you are there? Or have a masseur set up a table on our terrace for an ocean view massage? These and even private yoga instruction can easily be arranged. Please email with any questions.

The home was designed by a well known Mexican architect in true contemporary style using concrete and entire walls of glass with wonderful inside/outside living areas. Handcrafted custom Parota wood louvered doors open onto decks, patios, the garden and pool area. Every individual detail was carefully chosen to complement and enhance the unique and comfortable design, such as the onyx walls, honed granite counters, and custom made furniture. Whether the perfect spot to relax is in one of the king sized beds featuring high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, the hammocks or the chaise lounges, that is entirely up to you to decide. If you can't completely leave the outside world behind, there is super fast Wi-fi throughout.

The house is totally private. It has exclusive use of its own infinity pool, plunge pool and walled garden

Other things to note:

A car isn't necessary but lots of folks do prefer to have a car or rent a golf cart while at the house. You can always get a $5 taxi to the house, day or night... they are waiting on the plaza. Ask us to help arrange transportation from the airport or we really like Sixt Car rental. During the summer months, roads can get slippery in the rain, so golf carts or 4-wheel drive are best. For golf carts, our renters really like Gaby Golf Carts.

It's just a 10-minute walk to both the plaza and the beach but returning home you'll have a very steep hill for the last block so give yourself a couple of extra minutes for that:)

It is customary in Mexico to leave the staff a tip when you leave. We suggest $5 - $10 per day and all tips are shared.

Additionally, Casa Brava can be rented as a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom as well as the 1 bedroom Guesthouse.

Our only regret is not staying longer

Couldn't have asked for anything more! Exactly what we're looking for on our family trip to Sayulita: great pool, lots of indoor/outdoor space, incredible view, solid location. We loved the Sonos throughout the house to easily set a great vibe and the management was extremely responsive and so friendly. It was definitely a perk knowing we could message them at any time or have any of them stop by if we needed a hand. Our only regret is not staying longer, but we'll certainly be back!

They really thought of everything.

Our stay in Sayulita at Amanda's place was wonderful. Her and her team were extremely communicative and responsive. The views from her place were stunning. It had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. They really thought of everything. They even had beach chairs and umbrellas that we could take down to the beach with us. The walk to town was very doable. The walk up to the house is definitely steep, but short. We were able to use Uber a few times, however the wait times varied and after about 10pm it was hard to find an Uber. We did not see many taxi's driving around either. We never tried calling a taxi, we just ended up walking back to the house so not sure about that. I'd probably recommend getting a golf cart to make things easier, but we managed without. The town is amazing, very vibrant, delicious food, and friendly. We always felt very safe. Highly recommend staying here. We'd love to come back.

Fantastic property!

Fantastic property! This is truly a gem of a place to stay in Sayulita. You will be so glad you stayed here...house is amazing and very clean. Amenities are top notch. The check in process and management staff are extremely helpful and quick to respond if you need anything. Now the views from on top of this hill...there are no words!
