Sabor con Magia is a multidisciplinary team with the goal of providing you the best quality service. We believe in serving great food at reasonable prices. We create food for the Soul.

We are headed by the Chef Roberto Escudero, who is natural from Oaxaca and was raised in a family of Chefs expertise in Traditional Mexican Cuisine. Roberto has been involved in the kitchen enviroment since age 13, which grants him experience from over 15 years on the area. Roberto is detail oriented and his creativity gets manifested in every creation.

Roberto has catered events all over Mexico. Roberto is ready to innovate and fushion any type of cuisine style that best compliments your meal or event with a smile in his face.

Sabor con Magia specializes in healthy food, which does not mean it´s not delicious, focusing on Local Organic & Sustainable products. This means all the meat, chicken, fish or veggies you eat were grown or caught by local people in ideal areas, under healthy conditions and were paid a fair price.

We create wonderful events for all types of clients, serving up 100% delicious, national based, eco-cuisine & tasty treats.

We catered the National SUP Championship, The World Standup Paddle and Paddleboard Championship & the MTV & Netflix shooting from FWD.

Perfect for Our Family Celebration

We used Chef Roberto to cater my 75th birthday party at Casa Gallo for 17--10 adults and 7 kids between the ages of 2-13. The food was great and we used a photographer recommended by the Chef who also was great to capture the evening. The Chef's team even arranged and managed a pinata for the kids--which was a hit. Highly recommend Chef Roberto and his team for your catered event. They were fantastic.

The Best!

Chef Roberto and his team made a delicious and beautiful dinner for our group of 20. Everything was executed perfectly. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Clean up was also great. His team was professional, friendly and fun. I will definitely book Chef Roberto for all our return visits.

One of the Best Decisions We Made for Our Wedding

I cleaned up the speech-to-text names and made this feel a little more elevated since this one matters more.

We got married in Sayulita in February, and finding the right caterer was one of the most important decisions for us. We wanted the food to feel authentic, local, generous, and truly delicious. It mattered a lot.

We spoke with several caterers during the planning process, and honestly, it was not as easy as we expected. Some people never got back to us, and one person disappeared completely in the middle of a conversation. We even made an initial trip to Sayulita to research options and still did not find the right fit. So we scheduled a second trip specifically to find the right caterer.

That second trip is when we met Roberto and his team at Sabor con Magia, and we are so grateful we did.

From the beginning, Roberto understood what we were looking for. He and his team took the time to prepare a tasting menu for us before the wedding, including custom craft cocktails, several appetizers, and different entrée options. Everything was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully done. We left that tasting feeling completely confident that we had found the right person.

On the wedding day, Roberto and his team were professional, warm, and incredibly accommodating. The logistics at our venue were not easy. They had to bring everything up a steep driveway, and there were a lot of moving parts, but they handled it all with skill and care. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Our guests were happy, we were happy, and it was exactly the kind of meal we had hoped to share with everyone.

We also had Roberto’s team prepare a brunch for us the next day. Given how late they had worked the night before, I know that was not easy, but they still pulled it off beautifully. The brunch was excellent as well, and everyone really enjoyed it.

We truly cannot recommend Roberto and Sabor con Magia highly enough. They were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we hope we get the chance to enjoy Roberto’s cooking again someday.

Magic indeed

Chef Roberto runs an excellent service. The food was scrumptious, prepared and served with love and pride, and I just cannot say enough about the kindness, courtesy, respectfulness and care with which each person on his staff interacts with the ingredients and with their diners. Chef prepared and served great and varied Mexican food to 14 adults and 8 children for 6 of our 7 nights in Sayulita (we wanted the staff to spend Christmas eve with their families) and we could not have asked for a better experience. And then they left us a spotless kitchen each night. Wow!

THE BEST IN MEXICO

We've had personal chefs in a few places in Punta Mita and Cabo. Roberto and his staff was the best we've had yet. The attention to detail, and his preparation are incomparable. We had flank steak and grilled chicken which were both OUTSTANDING! Thank you so much, Roberto, Carlos, Isabelle, and all for a very memorable evening for our family (ages 3-73!).
