Casa Silvana in Sayulita is located in the Beachfront Complex Villas del Palmar. Just a 30 second walk to the beach and 7 minute walk into town, it is ideally located on the north side beach.
Casa Silvana is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. The first bedroom comes equipped with 2 double beds, the second bedroom with 1 queen bed and the third bedroom with a king bed and two toddler beds. All homes in Villas del Palmar share a large beachfront swimming pool with a shallow area for kids as well as a large palapa shaded area with lounge chairs and tables.
Villas del Palmar is a family-friendly complex and kids are welcome. We also accept well-behaved dogs with prior approval.

To make things worse, the basic cleanliness of the place was disappointing. The linens and towels were stained, which only added to the feeling that the property is not properly cared for or professionally managed.
Overall, the lack of security and cleanliness turned what should have been a relaxing vacation into a stressful and uncomfortable experience. There are plenty of great places to stay in Sayulita — unfortunately, Casa Silvana is not one of them.

We are very sorry you had a disappointing stay with us. But we are quite baffled, and wondering if you are confusing us with a different house, as we have no record of someone named Sarah renting from us. The only message we got from a recent group was that when they opened the safe, it looked like things had been moved, so we are assuming that is the group you were with? They mentioned there was money in the safe, and it wasn't taken. That really doesn't sound like a thief was in there, and those safes are almost impossible to get into. We also have the safest complex in Sayulita, with 24 hour on-site security and cameras in all the common areas. If something was really missing, and they had let us know, we would have been able to audit the safe and find out exactly when and how it was opened. And also could have checked the cameras to see if someone entered who shouldn't have. Apart from that, we never heard anything more from that group, and certainly didn't hear anything about cleanliness and stained sheets or towels. We have had the same housekeeper for 8 years, and never get anything buy praise for her. If you did confuse us with a different house, please contact Sayulitalife and ask them to remove the review. The host was very communicative & friendly! We requested a crib for our 1.5yr old & were happy to find a pack & play already in the unit on arrival.
Location is a 30 second walk to the sand (3 min walk to paddle out & surf), is quiet in the best way & feels very safe, security was present at all times. We chose to rent a golf cart which changed our 10min walk into town into a 2min drive. Golf cart rentals are right out front of the complex along with some delicious food!
Drinking water provided in the unit was a huge bonus! And, mini split AC’s in each bedroom were a lifesaver! The unit felt slightly outdated compared to some of the others we saw in the complex but this didn’t change the quality of our trip in the slightest!
Would absolutely recommend this unit & this complex to friends heading to Sayulita!
