Sayulita Sports Massage is aimed at providing pain relief and relaxation through various massage techniques and medical acupuncture to get you back on the move, back to your sport, or simply enjoying your vacation pain-free!

Sayulita Sports Massage uses a variety of therapeutic massage techniques including sports injury, Thai massage, Lymph-drainage, fascial release, scar tissue, rehabilitation massage and deep tissue. From weekend warriors, and professional athletes to desk jockeys, Sayulita Sports Massage has you covered.

Sports Injury: Depending on the injury, severity and time of onset, sports injury techniques will vary in their level of aggressiveness. A low level of discomfort can be expected with acute injuries but the overall experience leaves you feeling relaxed, a decrease in pain and focused on returning to your active life.

Swedish: The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle pain, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body. Deep Tissue is best applied with the principles of Swedish massage to reduce "kick back pain" in the days following

Medical Acupuncture: Medical acupuncture is the use of sterilized needles to reinforce massage therapy treatment by aiding in musculoskeletal and other health challenges. Sayulita Sports Massages uses medical acupuncture to maximize results

Women's Health: prenatal, and postpartum, as well as medical acupuncture, Kinesio-taping, and of course, relaxation.

The best massage ever! (I cant believe its in Sayulita)
Emily is incredible. She is truly an asset to Sayulita. I have had many massages but never a "sports" massage before but will definitely book one again. After a week long surf trip, Emily's skilled techniques alleviated my muscle tension and significantly improved my overall mobility. The comfortably massage table and welcoming environment added to the therapeutic benefits, making it a truly rejuvenating session. I highly recommend Emily's services to anyone looking for effective and professional sports massage therapy.

Her Knowledge and interest for the human body and her excellent education are just one of the things I like about her work. I literally feel 100% in good hands! My partner says the same. Emily is one of the best body workers I’ve ever worked with
Emily is nothing short of a body work magician! Recommended to me by my surf coach (to help with the physical challenges tor surfing in your 40s), it’s been 3 years, a zillion massages later and I can confidently Emily is one of the best body workers I’ve ever worked with.
Here’s why she stands out: Remarkable intuition, she knows how to get my muscles to actually relax so all the tension just melts, I never feel sore, and always leave feeling like I just had a chiropractic adjustment, a nap, a meditation and a massage all at once. My body genuinely feels 15 years younger.
ALSO! Her studio is gorgeous, conveniently located and her massage table is like the Temperpedic mattress of massage tables. She also goes above and beyond, imparting stretching techniques and home exercises that complement the benefits of the sessions.
In summary, Emily is more than just a body worker; she is a vital partner in my wellness journey. If you seek a therapist who’s committed to well-being and understands the intricacies of the body, Emily is the undisputed choice.

Highly Recommend, I will be back!
Emily is a top-notch masseuse. I get therapeutic and relaxation massages in the US every two weeks as I work out daily and have a herniated disk. I’m typically disappointed by my massages in Mexico - it feels like the masseuses don’t have much professional training in general. Emily is quite the contrary. She is clearly well-trained, and my body felt 100% better. She also has a very happy and sweet disposition. I’ll definitely be back to see her next time I’m in town and highly recommend her!!!!!

Truly Amazing
True depth of knowledge for the body from the moment your conversation begins as to why you arrived to receive from Emily. As a fellow bodyworker I could extend my review of her work, her somatic intelligence, and her compassion to the length of a short essay. I will simply state my deep gratitude for her skill and energy. I would trust her with any and all of my own clients. I also second the review that recommends booking in advance as she is certain to be a significant staple of healing expertise in the entire Nayarit region. Feeling revived and blessed to have met such an intelligent soul. Emily, excited to return to Litibu and come see you again! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you ✌🏼💪🏼

I will be back!
It has been years since I've had a massage that was 10/10 in every aspect. The best body workers, in my opinion, are ones who understand the body deeply, and whose physical work on your body is consistent - this consistency builds trust and trust allows you to fully let go and relax (and even more importantly, heal). She helped me do just that. It is an understatement to say, Emily is one of these exceptional bodyworkers! I will be coming back to her every time I return to Sayulita - though I know I'll need to start booking months out because, no doubt, her books will be full as word spreads about her expertise.

Emily's knowledge is top shelf!
Having had two significant orthopedic surgeries in the past, and remaining active with running and working out I tend to deal with a lot of muscular tightnes as a result of past surgeries. Emily's knowledge of the body and it's working is top shelf! She knew a great deal about injuries I had, and how to go about dealing with the tightness. She took time prior to the massage to ask me questions, and get to know me a bit. I would say that each massage she does is catered to the client, and not a cookie cutter approach! I have had massages all over the world due to a great deal of international travel, and dealing with past injuries and Emily's massage was one of the best I have ever had. I walked around this afternoon feeling like I was a kid again, nothing hurt and no tightness! I highly recommend her!!

Emily in Sayulita Mexico
Bio Please mention SayulitaLife
Emily is a former registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario Canada(CMTO). She practices a variety of therapeutic massage, including sports injury, fascial release and rehabilitation, scar tissue and lymphatic massage, prenatal, postpartum and infant massage. Completed the Medical Acupuncture Certificate program with Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Emily's main sports work was with The Badminton and Racquet Club in Toronto's downtown squash pros, and volunteering with the 2015 Pan American/Parapan American games. Emily was active in her Toronto community, volunteering time teaching massage students sports massage techniques at local sporting events, and now volunteers at Sayulita’s Longboard Contest to provide athletic care. She is very active herself, having completed her first triathlon in 2014 and standing third on the podium, and more recently taking up surfing (read: floating) as a meditative (and ever-challenging) pastime. This helps her relate to clients’ aches and pains during intense training or following sporting events. She has recently taken her own advice and hits the yoga mat for stability and body awareness.
