Tropical House in Sayulita has been a local favorite for many years offering a blend of tropical and Mediterranean flavors in a quiet garden setting, three blocks north of the river on Avenida Palmar (Beach Road) on Sayulita’s North End.

We have a full bar and a specially selected tiered wine list that showcases worldwide wines that range from the basic table variety to wines to exclusive wines that will satisfy the most sophisticated palate. Be sure to try our house tequila, which is sure to be your favorite! We offer free wireless Internet, fresh fruit smoothies and a full espresso bar. Daily specials are offered according to the season of freshness from the sea and the orchards.

Open from 8 am to 1:30 and 6 pm to 11 pm, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tropical House is the place in Sayulita to hang out in the morning for breakfast or lunch and then, dine in the garden area at night listening to good music and visiting with friends.

Attention is over the top.

Very cozy looking place. With incredible food and friendly staff. Waiter advertised their specials and I was impressed, sea bass was just perfect, tropical ceviche definitely must try here. Also I didn’t like my cocktail, and they changed it in a second. Atmosphere was very romantic with a live music on the side.

Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a dinner spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, with lovely ambiance and excellent food, this is the spot! The Shrimp Chipotle is incredible, and my Fiancé had the Mahi Mahi Veracruz and Sarandeado on two different nights and loved both. The portions are filling and the bartender has a generous pour! The live music is the cherry on top! Highly recommend.

Thank you Tropical House!

My family and I had the pleasure of enjoying New Years Eve dinner with Tropical House! We had a large party (10) and it was an amazing experience. They don’t do reservations because they have been burned in the past with no-shows. Except in constant contact to ensure we would show. Glad we did… their food is amazing and service was on point! Thank you Tropical House! I had the flank steak with Gorgonzola and mashers… bomb!

Went to this lovely spot for dinner last night and this place made for a great experience on all levels. Vanessa was our server. She exudes warmth, authenticity and helpfulness. She's a real treasure for this place. I had the Mahi Mahi Serandeado which was excellent and prepared perfectly. They had a live acoustic guitar player who was great and the amplification was perfect and not too loud. The mezcalitas were not weak like most in town. Also they were tasty. The atmosphere is laid back and homey. 5 out of 5
