Villa Monte

On top of the hill overlooking the ocean. So many different levels of relaxation. The heated pool with ocean views was a treat. On the floor above was a day bed to just nap and stare at the ocean. On the floor above, an outdoor kitchen and living space to watch sunsets and enjoy dinner and drinks. One of the finest rentals I've stayed in.

Communication from Diane was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. WAll of the amenities were top-notch, and the host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. We were seriously taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony.

We just returned home from a week stay at Villa Monte and boy is this place spectacular. To begin Diane and Pedro are great people very easy to communicate with and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The house is truly beautiful and it has a spectacular view that photos don't really do justice. Every morning we made coffee on the top floor and sat under the palapa looking out at the water, If I could spend every morning forever like this I would. The house has 4 large suites with attached bathrooms, we traveled with 2 families and there was ample room for everyone to have space and their own privacy. The kitchen is fully loaded which can be rare for vacation rentals, we hired "Chef Doris Rivera" which I also highly recommend as it really made our stay awesome, it was great to have saran-wrap and Tupperware to save leftovers there on hand. Our kids loved the "Jaguar pool" they spent lots of time swimming, and if it was up to them I don't think we would of ever left the house. Also Sayulita can be very loud at night if your place is to close to the Plaza, Villa Monte is far enough up the hill that you get a break from the noise, but are still just 5 minutes to the hustle and bustle, we rented Golf Carts and I would say they are a must, plus its fun to drive them around town. I truly cant say enough about Villa Monte, great Wifi, AC units in all the rooms I could go on and on, if you are looking for a place to make memories with your family book this Villa with confidence.

Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Diane has thought of every detail! The decor is stunning… a beautiful Mexican hacienda. Diane and Pedro went above and beyond to make our stay special. From arranging our transportation to and from the airport. Our golf carts were at the house waiting for us when we arrived. My friends also arranged a private massage and private chef at the house… all booked with Diane. She is simply the best!! The views are stunning!!! Those sunsets though!!

Villa Monte was the perfect spot for hubby and I to get far, far away from work. What we loved about Villa Monte: The quality. For the past 15 years, we’ve chosen to rent homes instead of hotels mostly for the extra space. We love the experience yet often notice that something is missing, whether it’s a reading lamp by the bedside, a nightlight, salt, etc. Villa Monte was different in that absolutely everything was provided; not just bath and beach towels but extra phone chargers, BBQ tools, personal drinking water containers at the bedside, and special beach bags for day trips. The owners have thought of everything in advance, which was a first. Location. You can’t beat a view of the ocean from that third floor palapa. This is also a great space for morning exercise. Walking distance to downtown. For folks who hike or walk a lot, the road down and back up the hill will be a snap - as long as you’re wearing close-toed sneakers or Keens to navigate the cobblestone streets. Privacy. This spot is safe, secluded, and quiet, except for the morning birds that call to each other across the valley.

An absolute must if you are staying in Sayulita. A beautiful home, priceless view, amazing accommodations, and gorgeous property. Diane and Pedro made our trip absolutely wonderful and were responsive, attentive, and so kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic and you are close to the main town square which has everything you will need. The concierge services were incredible. Our family ordered golf carts for the week (a must in Sayulita), tequila tasting, massages, and organized a dinner with a chef. Not to mention coordinated our airport transfer. Everything was seamless! Additionally, they organized baby stuff to be delivered to the house for my daughter. I can’t encourage you too book here enough- it is spectacular! I hope you love sayulita as much as our family did. We will be back!

Spent Christmas with family and Diane went above and beyond to accommodate us in every aspect. Upon arrival we were received by Pedro who was very friendly showed us around the home explained where everything was and made us feel right at home. They had usb chargers in small bags in every room, small speakers, noodles for the pool, toiletries, great laundry area, and games. Can’t express enough how well equipped the home is. I would definitely recommend and come back. Great Sayulita experience.

I spent a week in July with friends at beautiful and dreamy Villa Monte. The home is perched on the hill with breathtaking views from most rooms. Definitely don’t miss the spectacular sunsets from the pool and palapa! The house is modern with all the amenities you need from black-out curtains to ceiling fans and A/C. The local art and decor were out of a magazine.
The host and the concierge service were extremely helpful booking us a golf cart and transportation to nearby towns and the airport. They also had great recommendations for restaurants and activities in and around town. I highly recommend to stay at Villa Monte during your next stay in Sayulita. I certainly can’t wait to go back!

My friend and I stayed at Villa Monte for a week recently and absolutely loved it. It was such an amazing and beautiful house... we couldn't get over it. The bedrooms were a nice size and all had their own bathrooms and AC but the truly special part is the pool/patio area and the third floor outside space where you can nightly watch spectacular sunsets. Honestly, this is one of the nicest vacation homes I have ever stayed in. Plus, Diane, the owner, is so sweet!! She totally helped hook us up with a golf cart (you need one) and directed us to all the best restaurants/beaches. I highly recommend!!!
