Villa del Oso Wedding and Event Venue in Sayulita, Mexico

Luisa is AMAZING! Her and the staff are easy to communicate with and they bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy your stay. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful for a wedding! We had the night of our dreams here. Thanks for the best vacation and celebration….highly recommend!

Villa del Oso is INCREDIBLE!!! Staying at the vacation rental with our bridal party was a phenomenal experience. Add the fact that we had the luxury/convenience of hosting our 107 person wedding on the lawn and we truly couldn't ask for more.

Luisa the property manager is super easy to communicate with. Visiting/booking the villa was a breeze especially given I only contacted her a few days before my scouting trip to Sayulita. She also provides a lot of support in advance of your trip to help ensure your trip goes as planned.

The house staff of chefs, cleaners, security and on-site manager were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Eduardo, Maribel, Alma, Claudia and Don. Our crew loved the daily breakfast/lunch they prepared and we were so happy to enjoy each meal on the patio to pair with the beautiful views. They also do daily cleaning so the villa stays clean throughout the entirety of your stay.

The villa as a wedding venue was absolutely stunning. So many of our guests expressed we hosted the most beautiful and memorable wedding they'd ever attended and I know the venue played a major part in that.

To address the elephant in the room: we talked to Luisa about the security concerns and she assured us they had since increased their security measures. We did not have any issues.

All in all, I cannot rave enough about Villa del Oso and can only hope to return for another vacation... or maybe as a a wedding guest. :)

Villa del Oso was an absolute dream to stay in with our families and to host our wedding this past November. The property manager, Luisa was very responsive and accommodating and the house staff was incredible with daily service needs and meals, the villa was spotless and welcoming. I booked the villa for our wedding site unseen and have no regrets, I’m still convinced it’s the BEST wedding venue in Sayulita for so many reasons, our wedding day was incredible, and many of our guests want to book the villa for themselves in the future. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, Sunset Soiree is also highly recommended as well!

I booked Villa del Oso as our wedding venue and it was the best choice we could have made. The bride's family is from Nayarit with grandparents living in Tepic. Having the wedding at Villa del Oso gave them a great chance to relax in a beautiful & peaceful venue. The rest of the family is bi-coastal and they were so happy to spend time in a warmer climate. The villa is well maintained and the staff is kind and attentive. We were so happy with the accommodations and services throughout this special week. Highly recommend a stay at Villa del Oso, you won’t regret it

We stayed at Villa Del Oso and also had my wedding on the property in November of 2019. This villa is INCREDIBLE. Not only was it a spectacular and luxurious property to stay at with my family, but the location is absolutely dreamy for a tropical wedding.
The staff were so nice, helpful, and just a pleasure to be around. The space was clean and always felt safe. The location was perfect - an easy walk to central Sayulita and a lovely view of the beach (amazing for sunset!).
One thing I really appreciate about Villa Del Oso as a wedding venue is the many different areas. We were able to utilize the entire property - we had the ceremony on the top of the hill overlooking the ocean, while the reception was set up on a lower level with a dance floor, bar, etc. This made the transition from ceremony to reception so easy.
A few other awesome features:
Public outdoor restrooms so the guests don't have to enter the villa during the party
A path directly down to (the best part of) the beach with a little shower to rinse your feet
An immaculately kept property with lots of tropical greenery
Tons of different and beautiful locations in and around the property for wedding photos
The master bedroom/bathroom is perfect for hair and makeup

I could go on. My point is that if you are deciding between a few places, I highly recommend booking Villa Del Oso for your wedding or luxury family vacation.

We recently hosted our Wedding at Villa Del Oso in Sayulita and I can honestly say it was the most magical place. We only looked at one location for our wedding and as soon as we saw the Villa we booked it. Its in the most wonderful grounds that are kept perfectly. The views are exceptional and the staff go out of their way to make your stay a dream.

Each room is perfect and the main room with a huge bed and bathroom was the more spectacular place to get ready on your wedding day. We had breakfast and lunch prepared for us each day which was delicious and they were very attentive to my little niece and nephew with giving them foods that they would eat. Luisa and the team do a great job. If you want a wedding over looking the ocean on magnificent grounds with direct beach access, then look no further!

We had an amazing wedding at Villa del Oso. The property is so very beautiful and the staff was beyond accommodating. The house was kept immaculate and the meals were so delicious. We couldn't have hoped for a better place for our special day! Highly recommended.

Our daughter was recently married at Villa del Oso in Sayulita and the wedding could not have been more beautiful. The home is a perfect wedding venue and was large enough to accommodate our entire immediate families. It is located on the quiet north of town end about 15 minutes walking distance to the town center. We rented golf carts but a number of our folks enjoyed walking the beach to town. The home and grounds are exquisite and the staff was very accommodating. Luisa was a big help in many ways to make our stay just perfect.

We attended a wedding at Villa del Oso and were invited to stay at the Villa with the family. What a beautiful place! The house was beautifully decorated, with most bedrooms having ocean views; the grounds perfectly manicured; the staff attentive; and food prepared on site was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the 5 days we were there.

Our experience of staying at Villa del Oso was so beyond exceptional, I honestly don't know where to start. I hosted my wedding at Villa del Oso this past month and stayed on the property for one week with family, and it was beyond our wildest dreams. Everything about it was 5 star luxury. The Villa itself is insanely gorgeous - There is a beautiful ocean view from almost every room in the house, the property itself is perfectly manicured, and they offer any amenity you can think of.

I asked where to locate an iron to iron my outfit and a member of the household staff literally steamed it for me right there on the spot! The breathtaking views and beauty of Villa del Oso are only matched by the one of a kind service. The property manager Luisa is always available and so helpful and the household staff is exceptional. From the breakfast of our choice they prepared for us each morning to the always incredibly clean and tidy condition the housekeeping team kept our bedrooms to the around-the-clock property security, we felt like royalty, and while the staff was always available and happy to help with anything at all, we never felt like we were being intruded upon. Everyone is so professional and friendly.

Our family is still talking about our stay at Villa del Oso and as much as we talk about how incredible the actual villa is, we talk about how fabulous the household staff is and how much we miss them! That's a true testament to the quality of the team at Villa del Oso. These folks are one of a kind.

As for the actual wedding, it was completely unreal. You really can't ask for a better backdrop than Villa del Oso and what's more, we were blessed with an amazing pink sunset. I honestly don't think our friends and family will ever stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. Beyond being such a gorgeous location, it was also incredibly comfortable and convenient for our guests, creating a very smooth flow of events from ceremony to reception. It was perfect to have family stay on property too so that the elderly family members could easily go up to bed when they wanted.

Overall, Villa del Oso is top notch, 5 star all the way. It exceeding all of my expectations and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. Book this place fast, I swear you will not be disappointed!!!!
