Greetings 3,962 online Sayulero readers,

The streets of Sayulita sure have been active lately.  Plenty of action, colors, parades, balloons, fireworks, and flaming toros have definitely caught the eye (and ears) of tourist and locals alike over the last week.  Tonight is the celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe with plenty of activity in the Sayulita Plaza starting around 6:30 PM.  Rumors of a castillo"flaming tower of fireworks" are everywhere but as of yet, I still cannot get a concrete "si" or "no".  I guess we will all just have to show up tonight and find out "en el momento."

Voting is on Sunday and afterwards, everyone living in and/or visiting Sayulita can expect large lines of honking cars (with either red or green balloons) celebrating the winners.

Hope you enjoy the articles below,

Ian Hodge | SayulitaLife.com Webmaster (email)
