Where the Garden Meets the Grill — Sayulita’s Open-Kitchen Farm Table

We cook the way we live—simple, bold, and close to the land. On our 6-acre agave estate near Sayulita and Punta Mita, the open-air kitchen turns local produce, fresh seafood, and fire into honest flavors. Built with reclaimed and sustainable materials, the space is photogenic, soulful, and very Cachasol.

Our rotating menu celebrates Mexico’s greatest hits, including:
• Handmade quesadillas and sopes (Oaxaca cheese, flor de calabaza, or chorizo)
• Fresh ceviche, cactus salad, esquites, and molcajete guacamole
• Fire-grilled proteins like flank steak, shrimp, and cecina
• Seasonal elotes, hearty shrimp broth, and slow-cooked frijoles
• Pastel de elote with corn ice cream

Watch tortillas pressed to order, salsas ground fresh, and meats kissed by flame. Pair it all with signature cocktails—from the Tequila Barba-Rita to hibiscus margaritas—or a Cachasol flight featuring our additive-free tequilas and ancestral-style Raicilla.

Unreal food, knowledgeable staff & a restaurant worth returning to

Super easy to make a reservation! The place was beautiful, and the food was absolutely unreal! All the employees were super kind and knowledgeable about the tequila. we would 100% come back just for the restaurant, although the cooking and mixology classes look great as well! Muchas gracias!!

Best culinary experience in Sayulita, fresh farm-to-table flavors & next-level margaritas

All I can say is WOW. Cachasol is by far the best culinary experience and most beautiful dining location in Sayulita, and I have been to most of them after living here for five years. The staff are incredibly warm, inviting, friendly, and helpful. They go out of their way to offer true five plus star service. The farm to table ingredients make such a difference. The food is so fresh and full of flavor. And the tequila, raicilla, and margaritas are next level. Honestly the most flavorful margarita I have had anywhere in Mexico.

The prices are incredibly reasonable, but it is much more than a place to eat. It is a place to have an raicilla making tour (which we have not done yet but are really looking forward to), and it is a truly special space surrounded by lush nature. The owners are real visionaries. I was hesitant to write this because it is such a magical hidden gem and I know it will blow up soon, and then we will all be waiting weeks for a reservation. But it truly deserves that recognition.

Thank you to James and Meg the owners, Christian our server, the incredibly chefs, and the entire staff for creating something so special. We will be back many, many times.

Stunning place!

I recently visited Cachasol and it was absolutely fantastic! The tequila, cocktails and food were amazing. Exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful experience at Cachasol! This was the highlight of our trip to Sayulita. The staff was incredible and couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating to our group. We brought our kids along and they had the best time playing and visiting Cacho, the distillery dog. We went back to do a new mixology and culinary experience with a few people in our group and we had a blast and learned a ton. Both the tequila and Raicilla are incredible and we were excited to hear that we can buy their tequila online and ship it directly to our home in Texas. If you’re in the Puerto Vallarta/Punta Mita/Sayulita area, you for sure need to visit Cachasol!

Awesome place!

Must do in Sayulita!! Add this to your itinerary and you will not regret it. Margaritas are perfect. Guacamole is the best. Staff are knowledgeable and professional. Farm-to-table cuisine is delicious and such a cool experience to make my own tortilla. This is perfect for a family (even has a play area for kids), friend group (I did Girls Night Out and want to book again), or date night with your partner. Definitely book Cachasol tour!
