Casa Dos Rios Upstairs Casa in Sayulita, Mexico
We are so pleased to share our beloved home with you. It is located on the Southside of Sayulita on Calle Naranjito (street of little oranges), a quiet, dead-end street. Casa Dos Rios is just a 5-minute walk to the downtown center and about a 7-minute walk to the main beach with no big hills or steep inclines. It is nice and close to town, restaurants, shopping, and the beaches but also far enough away that you don’t hear the sounds of town when you are ready to relax. A golf cart can be nice for exploring but is not needed.
Casa Dos Rios in Sayulita consists of two self-contained, private suites - Downstairs & Upstairs. The suites can be rented separately or together for larger groups. The two units share a heated, saltwater pool.
Casa Dos Rios Upstairs: The upstairs suite has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a new, memory foam King bed and the second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. Both bedrooms come equipped with A/C. There is a third sleeping space in the open-air rooftop palapa room with a queen bed. The palapa room has a table and chairs that are perfect for an evening drink, meal, or card game while you look out over the jungle and town. There is one washroom, a spacious living room with beautiful, traditional brick ceilings, and a breezy patio with a dining table overlooking the backyard pool and gardens. The fully equipped, traditional-style kitchen is open to the living room space.
Pool & Yard: The heated (or cooled!) pool, back yard patio, and gardens are shared between the two rental suites. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower next to the pool.
A golf cart is available to rent. The house is walkable, for sure, but a golf cart is very nice for the convenience, exploration, and getting to the further beaches like Playa de Los Muertos and Playa Carrecitos.
Renovations Completed! We bought this house in May 2022 and have done some improvements: adding the second bedroom in each suite, adding the pool with heater and cooling system, a bathroom and outdoor shower next to the pool, and some fresh paint.
House Staff: Our house manager Javier will be available should you need anything or have questions. Carla cleans the space during your stay.

There is a 4night minimum rental
50% of the rental fee is due to reserve your chosen dates, the other 50% is due 30 days before your rental date.
High Season: November 1 - May 31 - $225/night
Low Season: June 1 - October 31 - $175/night
Holidays are the weeks including Christmas, New Year's, Semana Santa ( Good Friday and Easter) - $275/night
Your deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 60 days before your booking.
If your notice is less than 60 days, you will get a refund once your reserved dates get re-booked.
E-transfer within Canada is accepted
My personal favourite moments were 1) sipping my morning coffee outside on the deck listening to all of the birds while taking in the lush foliage 2) hanging out and chilling by the pool enjoying some drinks, just completely shutting my mind off 3) cooking up meals with all of the wonderful fresh produce that’s readily available and slapping steaks on the BBQ 4) late night cards in the living room.
We really enjoyed staying here and hope to be back soon one day!
