Casa Lorca in Sayulita is a spacious king studio at Villa Poema de Amor, designed around effortless indoor-outdoor living. Here, you’ll spend as much time outside as in. Oversized handcrafted arched doors open completely onto the terrace, so tropical breezes and lush greenery become part of the home. It’s a peaceful, romantic retreat for couples who want room to relax on the Riviera Nayarit coast.

The star of the studio is its palapa-covered private terrace, one of the largest at Villa Poema de Amor. Beneath a traditional thatched roof, this oversized outdoor space becomes a second living room, with outdoor dining, lounge seating, refreshing ocean breezes, and filtered views toward Sayulita Bay through the surrounding palms. Linger over breakfast, enjoy a long dinner under the palapa, or simply unwind as the afternoon slips by.

Inside, a comfortable king bed and handcrafted architectural details create a warm, authentic atmosphere. The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower and a hand-painted Talavera sink, a beautiful nod to Mexican craftsmanship, and artisan furnishings carry that same character throughout. Air conditioning and high-speed WiFi keep everyday comfort easy.

For guests who love to cook, the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to settle in. It includes a full-size refrigerator and freezer, oven, cooktop, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils, plus pantry storage and a breakfast bar. Pick up fresh fish, fruit, and tortillas in town and enjoy a home-cooked meal on the terrace.

Your reservation includes exclusive use of Casa Lorca, including the king studio, kitchen, bathroom, and oversized private terrace. You’ll also enjoy shared access to the villa’s saltwater pool overlooking Sayulita Bay, along with its tropical gardens and outdoor common areas, shared only with guests of the villa. A neighboring hillside hotel is visible beyond portions of the terrace, part of the evolving landscape of Sayulita’s south side.

Free gated parking includes one designated space per condo intended for a golf cart. Parking for regular vehicles is limited and cannot be guaranteed, so please reach out in advance if you plan to bring a car. Because of the hillside location, the owners highly recommend renting a golf cart, the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore town. Downtown, the beaches, restaurants, and shops are all nearby, and the owners are happy to recommend trusted local rental companies before your arrival.

Highly recommended!

Just me to surf! The loveliest of properties and the best people. I was only confused about an envelope left for tips because I payed a cleaning fee already and someone came the night before I left but I’d kinda already tidy up! Highly recommend

Can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, from morning coffee on the patio overlooking the bay to poolside afternoons soaking up the warm sunshine this was exactly what we were after… We slept soundly with an ocean breeze flowing through our bedroom all night. Its at the end of the road 1 km from the village so there was no traffic whatsoever.. We are looking forward to coming back and staying here hopefully annually…

Can't recommend this enough!

I cannot say enough… this place is amazing! We had the best time in Sayulita. The Villa is so beautiful, we stayed in Casa Lorca. No one else was there, we had it all to ourselves! The pool is perfect and the lush gardens are too gorgeous to put into words. Such a bummer that a large monstrosity building is being built next door but looks like construction has halted?? I am sure they will figure out some sort of trees to hide it. We rented a golf cart from Gaby Golf Carts- they were so helpful- even when I lost the key on the beach!! The Villa was so clean and well taken care of. Housekeeping came every other day, washed our dishes and gave us fresh towels. Omar, the host-was helpful with local information, setting up airport transportation, planning excursions and everything else we needed. I cannot wait to back! Casa Lorca is truly a gem!

Villa Poema de Amor is breathtaking, peaceful, and serene. We loved every minute of our stay with our main goal to unwind and relax met at every level. Far enough from the busyness of Sayulita, close enough to walk to town for anything, we couldn’t have picked a better stay! The property managers were super attentive and helpful and made sure to go above and beyond to make our trip awesome. Stay here! You won’t regret it!!

Amazing home & hosts

Breathtaking rental! The property managers themselves absolutely made our stay. Super accommodating and responsive! They were very helpful from the time we booked to days before our arrival checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from directions to transportation. They checked in with us throughout our entire stay which made our trip that much better!!!! The house has 4 separate units. It is located up a long dirt road so you should plan to rent a golf cart rental. The property managers got us one delivered to the house within twenty minutes of our arrival even though we didn’t previously reserve one. Side note for Sayulitas in general; bring pesos prior to arrival as everyone is “cash only” and you'll get the best exchange rate at your bank
