Casa Neruda in Sayulita is a bright and spacious two-bedroom residence at Villa Poema de Amor, where handcrafted Mexican architecture, original artwork, and generous indoor-outdoor living come together in a warm hillside setting. Created as one of the villa’s signature residences, it comfortably welcomes up to four guests and is ideal for couples, families, friends, and longer stays in this beloved Riviera Nayarit beach town.

Every corner reflects the work of local artisans. Handcrafted woodwork, natural stone finishes, custom ironwork, and hand-painted ceramic sinks pair with locally inspired artwork and artisan furnishings to create a home that feels authentic, timeless, and deeply connected to Mexico. Air conditioning throughout and high-speed WiFi make everyday comfort effortless, whether you’re here for a week or settling in for a longer Sayulita stay.

The spacious living and dining areas open naturally onto two private balconies, where you can leave the doors open to tropical breezes and take in partial bay views. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for slow breakfasts before a morning surf or relaxed dinners after a day exploring Sayulita’s beaches, restaurants, and shops.

The king primary suite offers a peaceful place to unwind, while the queen guest bedroom gives family members or friends their own private space. Two full bathrooms keep mornings easy for everyone.

Your stay includes exclusive use of the entire residence, along with shared access to Villa Poema de Amor’s PebbleTec saltwater pool, tropical gardens, and outdoor common areas, shared only with guests of the villa. Poolside is where the bay opens up most beautifully, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing swim or a quiet afternoon with a book.

A few things to know before you book: Casa Neruda is reached by approximately two flights of stairs from street level, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. A neighboring building is visible from portions of the primary bedroom and living room, as is common with hillside homes in Sayulita. Free gated parking includes one designated space per condo intended for a golf cart. Parking for regular vehicles is limited and cannot be guaranteed, so please reach out in advance if you plan to bring a car.

Because of the hillside location, the owners highly recommend renting a golf cart, the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore town. Downtown, the beaches, restaurants, and shops are all nearby, and the owners are happy to recommend trusted local rental companies before your arrival.

Looking for a different way to experience Villa Poema de Amor? Couples can escape to the domed penthouse at Casa Rumi, the palapa-covered terrace of Casa Lorca, or the peaceful garden suite at Casa Hafiz. Traveling with friends or family? Casa Hafiz + Lorca and Casa Zen each welcome up to four guests, and for larger celebrations, you can reserve the entire Villa Poema de Amor for up to 14 guests.

Villa Poema de Amor is breathtaking, peaceful, and serene. We loved every minute of our stay with our main goal to unwind and relax met at every level. Far enough from the busyness of Sayulita, close enough to walk to town for anything, we couldn’t have picked a better stay! The property managers were super attentive and helpful and made sure to go above and beyond to make our trip awesome. Stay here! You won’t regret it!!

Amazing home & hosts

Breathtaking rental! The property managers themselves absolutely made our stay. Super accommodating and responsive! They were very helpful from the time we booked to days before our arrival checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from directions to transportation. They checked in with us throughout our entire stay which made our trip that much better!!!! The house has 4 separate units. It is located up a long dirt road so you should plan to rent a golf cart rental. The property managers got us one delivered to the house within twenty minutes of our arrival even though we didn’t previously reserve one. Side note for Sayulitas in general; bring pesos prior to arrival as everyone is “cash only” and you'll get the best exchange rate at your bank

Beautiful place. We loved all the round rooms. Beds were comfy. Ocean views from every window.

We loved staying in this gorgeous place. We had privacy and easy access to the beach. Our only worry was walking home at night through the graveyard to access the back gate. So we always took a taxi home to arrive at the front gate. It wasn't practical to to exit that way to the beach. It was a very bumpy steep road to access the front, but doable by taxi. All the drivers were undaunted by the road and it was only $5.
It was one of our best girl trips ever. We love boogie boarding. The beach here is perfect for that. We did that 4 of our 6 days. Lots of vendors on the beach are a bit annoying but that's the case everywhere in Mexico and Costa Rica. People are trying to make a living, got to respect that.
Inez, on site housekeeper, was sweet and made sure that we had plenty of beach and bath towels.
We also had a very nice woman come in to cook an evening dinner for us. She was an architect/interior designer by profession from Mexico City and a personal chef as hobby. The food was fresh, healthy and tasty. Her reference info is listed in the information book in the Casa.
Beautiful place. We recommend it.

Great place and housekeeping

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean. Great pool, great facilities, great property managers. Quick to fix any issues we were having. Make sure you get good directions to and from the house for any car services—could be difficult for some drivers to find.

Beautiful location

This is a great spot with a fantastic view. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, we also utilized Jeffrey's setup for the personal chef and it was great!

Amazing!

This place was amazing, had a great view, very clean and everything was how it said it would be. We definitely recommend!! Loved Los Muertos Beach nearby. Walked to town every day. We had a great time.
