Description

Casa Zen in Sayulita is a unique two-bedroom retreat at Villa Poema de Amor, made up of two completely private suites connected by the villa’s tropical pathways. Each suite has its own entrance, bathroom, and outdoor sitting area, so everyone has their own space but is still only a short garden walk away. It’s a distinctive boutique-style stay on the Riviera Nayarit coast, well suited to friends, a couple traveling with relatives, or families with older children.

The primary suite is a peaceful hideaway with a comfortable king bed, a private bathroom, and a terrace with beautiful views toward Sayulita Bay. Start the day with coffee overlooking the water, or return in the evening to unwind as the ocean breeze rolls in.

The second suite offers a cozy double bed, a private bathroom, a convenient kitchenette, and its own peaceful garden patio overlooking the villa’s tropical gardens. It’s ideal for guests who appreciate a little extra independence, and it also works well for two couples who are comfortable with a double bed in the second suite.

Moving between the two suites takes a brief walk through the gardens and past Villa Poema de Amor’s PebbleTec saltwater pool, which makes the pool a natural meeting point for morning swims, lazy afternoons, and time together before heading into town. Throughout both suites, handcrafted Mexican architecture and artisan furnishings create a warm, authentic atmosphere, while air conditioning and high-speed WiFi keep everyday comfort easy.

Your reservation includes exclusive use of both private suites that make up Casa Zen. The saltwater pool, tropical gardens, and common outdoor areas are shared only with guests staying at the villa, and free gated parking is included.

A few things to know before you book: there is no interior connection between the two suites, so guests walk a short distance outdoors to move between them. Because of this, Casa Zen may not be suitable for families with young children or guests who need internally connected bedrooms. A neighboring hillside building is visible from portions of the property, part of the landscape of Sayulita’s evolving south side.

Downtown, the beaches, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance, though the return trip includes moderate hills. To make the most of your stay, the owners highly recommend renting a golf cart and are happy to suggest trusted local rental companies before your arrival.

Prefer to have everyone together in one residence? Casa Neruda offers two bedrooms under one roof, while Casa Hafiz + Lorca connects two king suites with a full kitchen and palapa terrace. Planning a romantic getaway instead? Choose the domed penthouse at Casa Rumi, the palapa terrace of Casa Lorca, or the garden suite at Casa Hafiz. For the ultimate group escape, reserve the entire Villa Poema de Amor for up to 14 guests.

Beautiful home - Amazing Views!

We rented this amazing Villa for our seventh visit to Sayulita. The home itself is gorgeous, artistic, well landscaped, and has incredible views! The home is broken into separate rent-able spaces; however, can be combined to accommodate a larger group. We had 5 couples in our party - and each group had their own restroom/sleeping area. The house managers were incredibly responsive and the owner was a dream to work with! The only true cons of this Villa are the longish bumpy road to get to the Villa (however, still a VERY EASY ride on a golf cart - and, in fact - my husband and I walked to town every morning for breakfast, and that was one of our favorite aspects of this trip. We then paid 60 pesos to get a taxi back up the hill!) and the lack of a large outdoor "communal space". It would have been nice to have a larger area by the pool that could accommodate 10 adults. Other than that - great value and beautiful home!

Villa Poema de Amor is breathtaking, peaceful, and serene. We loved every minute of our stay with our main goal to unwind and relax met at every level. Far enough from the busyness of Sayulita, close enough to walk to town for anything, we couldn’t have picked a better stay! The property managers were super attentive and helpful and made sure to go above and beyond to make our trip awesome. Stay here! You won’t regret it!!

Amazing home & hosts

Breathtaking rental! The property managers themselves absolutely made our stay. Super accommodating and responsive! They were very helpful from the time we booked to days before our arrival checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from directions to transportation. They checked in with us throughout our entire stay which made our trip that much better!!!! The house has 4 separate units. It is located up a long dirt road so you should plan to rent a golf cart rental. The property managers got us one delivered to the house within twenty minutes of our arrival even though we didn’t previously reserve one. Side note for Sayulitas in general; bring pesos prior to arrival as everyone is “cash only” and you'll get the best exchange rate at your bank

Better than the photos, excellent communication and great management

The home is exactly as it appeared in the pictures. Actually it’s even better than the pics. This was my 1st time staying in an owner direct vacation rental, so I had a lot of anxiety but once I walked into the property I was extremely happy! Our family of 12 had a blast. Hope to return again.

Treat yourself to this incredible home. Best family vacation ever.

Excellent home. Great location next to town and restaraunts. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. Home was incredible. Clean and well furnished. We spent most of our time relaxing in the pool sipping drinks. Perfect family vacation.
