El Templito in Sayulita is located just above the beach at the quiet north end of Sayulita Bay, set in a lush tropical garden under a giant Fig Tree. There are great ocean views, a swimming pool, and balmy sea breezes.
El Templito can be rented with the newly constructed Casita for three bedrooms or with Mariluna a beautiful three bedroom villa just above Tempito for a total of six bedrooms which can accommodate 12 people, or any combination thereof. The Casita is a totatly independent apartment with kitchen, full bath, and patio with great views to the beach and ocean. For more information regarding the entire 3 villa estate, please view our Templo Del Mar page.
Stately Cantera stone stairs lead down from the vine covered parking area above, to a lovely little courtyard filled with tropical plants. Beautiful hand carved Cantara stone columns support the tile roof covering the open-air combination kitchen/living/ dining room. The surrounding arches frame the lovely views looking out on the hills of Sayulita, the tropical gardens, the pool, and ocean and beach views. There are Mexican tiled counters and modern appliances in the well- equipped kitchen.
Just off the patio is a small wading pool with a waterfall that leads down to the larger, deeper pool.
A cobblestone stairway to the beach leads down through lush gardens of heliconia, palms, and gingers to your own private rentrance to the north end of Sayulita beach (Playa Norte) and trails to the pristine beaches to the north.
El Templito has two air conditioned King size bedrooms that are in separate, adjacent buildings with the laundry in between. Each suite has gracious Mexican tiled bathrooms with showers, comfortable king size beds, handmade local hardwood furniture and regional artwork.
Amenities include bath and beach towels, quality bed linens, purified, reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, and maid service. There is high speed WiFi internet access, and TV/ DVD player.
El Templito is a perfect getaway for Honeymooners, two couples, or a couple with an older child or friend, (Due to the separate bedrooms and the open architecture, we do not recommend this house for small children.)
El Templito is a peaceful, tranquil retreat where body and soul can relax and unwind. Enjoy the ocean views, listen to the waves and exotic jungle and sea birds, and be awed by the spectacular sunsets. El Templito is a the perfect place to be at peace and harmony with nature and enjoy beautiful Sayulita.

My partner and I visited Sayulita 20 years ago, fell in love and bought one of the only beach houses on the north end of the bay then and there. It was a very quiet little fishing village then with a great surf break and friendly people. I now rent out my two houses Mariluna and Templito and enjoy sharing Sayulita and it's experience with others. Sayulita is a very special place that I was lucky enough to have found and had all these years to enjoy.
