Discover Sayulita Through a Local Lens with Sayulita Walking Tours

If you’re looking for a deeper, more meaningful way to experience Sayulita, Sayulita Walking Tours offers a unique opportunity to explore the town through culture, history, and personal connection; all at your own pace.

Created by longtime cultural guide and storyteller Sandra, this self-guided walking tour invites visitors to step beyond the typical tourist experience and truly connect with the heart of Sayulita.

A Journey Rooted in Culture

Sandra moved to Puerto Vallarta eighteen years ago in search of adventure, beauty, and a deeper connection to life in Mexico. Drawn by the country’s art, music, architecture, history, cuisine, and most importantly, its warm and welcoming people, she soon found herself immersed in Mexican culture.

Two years later, she launched her own business, Puerto Vallarta Walking Tours, becoming an experiential tour guide dedicated to cultural immersion. Her tours focus on storytelling, education, and personal connection – introducing guests to artisans and merchants who have become her close friends over the years.

Sandra is fully certified by Mexico’s National Department of Tourism and holds a Master’s degree in Education. Her background in marketing, sales, photography, and writing enriches every experience she creates.

When she isn’t guiding tours, she works remotely as a freelance cultural photographer and writer.

Why Sayulita Walking Tours Is Different

Sayulita Walking Tours stands out for three important reasons:

• At just $8.99, it is one of the most affordable experiences in Sayulita.
• No transportation is required – the tour begins right where you are.
• You can take the walk on your own schedule, as many times as you like.

The experience is friendly, relaxed, and informative, allowing guests to explore without pressure, sales pitches, or rushed stops.

You’ll be guided through Sayulita’s history, traditions, and everyday life while enjoying the freedom to pause, wander, and truly absorb your surroundings.

Moments That Define Sayulita

Some of Sandra’s favorite Sayulita moments are simple yet deeply meaningful – like enjoying a frozen Chocobanana from her longtime friend Tracy, or learning more about the Huichol people and their sacred artistic traditions.

These are the kinds of experiences woven into her tour – moments that connect visitors to the soul of the town rather than just the surface.

Why Sayulita Matters

Introducing Sayulita Walking Tours into the community represents a natural evolution from Puerto Vallarta’s bustling energy to Sayulita’s slower, bohemian rhythm.

Sandra hopes to inspire her longtime followers to look beyond Puerto Vallarta and discover the cultural richness of smaller pueblos. As a government-designated Pueblo Mágico, Sayulita offers a unique blend of tradition, creativity, and coastal charm that deserves to be explored with intention.

For travelers who love meaningful experiences, artistic communities, and authentic connection, Sayulita belongs on every “things to do” list.
