Mezcalito Music specializes in providing an exceptional musical experience for your next wedding, party, corporate gathering or event! With more than 30 years in the Bay and 15 performing, Mezcalito Music is an incredible local band that can adapt to many different styles and play in both English and Spanish.  We interviewed their amazing lead singer to get the details on their vast experience, professionalism and talent.

Hi! Can you tell me a little about yourself?
We are well known musicians with more than 15 years of experience. Perla Alarcón (singer, composer and guitarist); Alberto Ramirez (musical directors, guitarist); Luis Rascón (multi-instrumentalist, chelo, bass and percussion); Pepe Galván (bass and guitar); Melissa Alarcón (singer).

How did you arrive in Sayulita?
We grew up in la Cruz de Huanacaxtle, so Sayulita is very close to us and one of our favorite places to play.

How long have you been in the area? Whats your favorite part?
We’ve been in the area for over 30 years, and we love the town, its colors, flavors, the people.

What inspired you to open your business?
Our lives have been filled with music since we were children, because of the influence of foreigners is how we started playing music, and all of a sudden our business grew.

What services do you offer?
Live music in duet, trio or full band; for ceremonies, weddings, private parties or events. We have a wide repertoire of acoustic covers in english and spanish, mexican fusion music, rock, pop and latin rhythms, not to mention original music.

Tell me a little about your experience in the industry.
We started playing in restaurants and bars, we’ve played in theaters, open concerts and with our music we were a part of the reality show The Bachelor in Paradise. Our music has lead us to play in the United States, Canada and other places in Mexico like Los Cabos, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara, Cancun, etc. We have also been lucky enough to play for celebrities from Hollywood and very important people nationally and internationally.

How long have you been in business?
10 years, since 2013.

What does your business offer that sets you apart from the rest?
Trust, quality, punctuality and presence. Our personalized music, adapted to different taste, genres or decades. With our service you will have an unforgettable experience, from music!

How about your future plans for your business? Any new goals?
We want to have an even bigger presence as a brand in the whole region and keep conquering stages in and out of the country.

Any fond memories with a client?
When we play for families, we love seeing the little ones dance and enjoy. Their happiness is always contagious. We’ve seen people be moved to tears and others laugh from the joy of the moment shared.

Anything else you would like to share?
Besides being musicians, we are a family. We’ve all known each other for a long time and have shared a huge part of our lives together. Thank you for your preference. We hope to meet you soon!
