With a love for Sayulita and the lifestyle that it encompasses, Peter Atchem of Yoga Los Sueños was inspired to offer a hotel that had a main focus on high-level yoga instruction while guests enjoy the tropics and all that beautiful Mexico has to offer. ¨About Sayulita, it’s a laid-back village that is an eclectic mix, of surfing, mountain biking, and of course yoga, Peter said,¨ and that is exactly the feeling that draws many visitors to Sayulita each year.

In 2010, Peter and his crew commenced their project. Located within Hotelito Los Sueños,  “Little Hotel of Dreams” Peter is fulfilling his dream of providing guests and the community of Sayulita with an inspiring, gentle space for yoga practice. Peter prides himself on the fact that guests continue to return to the studio over the years.  ¨It has been absolutely fantastic.¨

With a dedicated team of teachers who are passionate about the practice of yoga, there is nothing they enjoy more than sharing their love of the practice with others. Classes are lead by professional, highly experienced teachers who are fully bilingual.¨Qualified yoga instructors are key to our studio. This entails a combination of experience in the practice of teaching along with a solid base of training.  We also encourage our instructors to continue with learning and further studies in yoga, Peter remarks¨ Teachers are highly trained in the practice of Vinyasa Yoga, Gentle Yoga, and Hatha Yoga, offering a fun, challenging, and relaxing variation.

What sets Yoga Los Sueños apart from other places is that they are not a high-end hotel with high-end prices but they offer high-end quality, including the yoga practice, morning breakfast, massage therapy, and the lush cozy nature of the hotel.

While guests can feel the breeze off the ocean and look over the lush jungle in a beautiful open-air studio, Yoga Los Sueños is more than pure aesthetics. The studio space was also designed for comfort, with natural rubber flooring, soothing tones, and all the equipment you might need, including mats, blocks, bolsters, and straps.

Peter and his team share a vision that everyone can benefit from a yoga practice, regardless of age, size, shape, flexibility, or experience level. In addition to daily public classes, Yoga Los Sueños also offers private instruction for individuals or groups at the studio or at home to create a custom experience that is right for everyone.
