How did the idea for Alto Alto come about?
We saw the demand for Mediterranean food, a beautiful enviroment and location (terrace) and great service from many years of experience in the restaurant business, and decided it was the perfect opportunity for us.

Why did you decide to open the business in Sayulita?
Sayulita continues to grow and is a great business opportunity because there are so many different types of tourists who visit. We thought it's our turn do our bit, so that Sayulita becomes recognized for being a gastronomic destination as well.

We love the central location of the restaurant. Tell us a little about the atmosphere and the views from the top:
Being located on the main street of the town is a great advantage but being at the top allows you to experience another perspective of Sayulita that you can only get at Alto Alto!

How will a customer feel when entering Alto Alto for the first time? Surprised, cozy, satisfied and relaxed. In this restaurant we also want you to put a pause to your busy life, have fun and let yourself be pampered!

Any special dish that you recommend trying?
You have to try the classic hummus to share, a lamb shawarma for a starter, the red snapper Tabule for the main course and Baklava for dessert. Of course, accompanied by one of our signature cocktails.
