We sat down with Master Esthetician and owner Lucy Pallas to hear all about how she started her business and the amazing services she offers. Hi Lucy! So excited to be interviewing you! Can you please tell us a little about yourself?
I grew up in a small coastal village in Ireland called Dalkey, a truly magical town with so much charm. I moved to San Francisco in 1996 and lived there for 21 years. I’m a mum, outdoor nature lover, sunset chaser and always up for an adventure.

How did you arrive in Sayulita?
My first time in Sayulita was in 2011 for a 2 week family holiday. I instantly fell in love, I felt like I was back home in Dalkey! Life in San Francisco was fast paced city living… raising kids there came with all sorts. I was longing for a slower more wholesome environment to raise my kids. In 2017 we came for the summer and knew then that this is where our hearts sang. It was never to be forever, but now it is. 

Can you tell me a little bit about your business and what inspired you to open?
At Glow we specialize in top of the line medical aesthetics and skincare. We are really focused on creating a space where there is only positive self talk. After years of driving to Puerto Vallarta for facials and deciding to make Sayulita my longterm home I saw the need for advance medical grade skincare. Skincare is truly my passion and having Glow Sayulita is a dream come true.

I heard you are a master esthetician. What does that mean?
Yes, both Jaime and I are master aestheticians. We have both been licensed for over 10 years and have continued our education throughout this time. We’ve both been fortunate enough to study under different Doctors where we have learnt many new modalities .

What kind of services do you offer?  
Advanced skincare, LED lights, BB glow facial, and we will have the best guest Doctors in the area booked a few times a month offering botox and fillers. With many new services to come in the new year!

I personally love the Diamond Glow Facial. Can you explain what it entails exactly?
The Diamond Glow facial is amazing! We love it for a good detox from all the dust and humidity here, as it is a deep, deep clean. We also highly recommend it for bridal parties as it will leave you literally glowing and ready for your special day!

What kind of environment can a client expect when they walk into Glow?
I purposely chose a location that wouldn't allow for walk ins to create the most serene, peaceful environment. It is easily accessible on a golf-cart and just 5 minutes out of town. We guarantee a lovely, relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the plaza that will leave you feeling brand new. I'd like to think of it as a safe haven, quietly nestled in the outskirts of town.

Do you have any funny/good memories with clients in Sayulita you can share with us?
The best funny memory was talking with a client, she told me the day after her facial she was out with friend. Her friend was wow’d by her new glow and insisted that she looked like she’s just had sex! Talk about glowing!
