- Please tell me a bit about yourself.
My name is Graciela Navarro, I have lived and worked in Sayulita for 20 years. I am originally from Michoacán, and for the past 10 years, my children Jose Luis and Janeth have been accompanying me on this beautiful journey of entrepreneurship and the opening of "Nirvanna".
- How did you land in Sayulita?
I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the town, and since my family and I love the beach, I decided to pursue my dreams in this beautiful location.

The Northside and Carricitos beach
- What inspired you to start your business?
My grandmother was a midwife, and as a child, I used to help her with her midwifery and massage work. This is where my interest in physical well-being began. Seeing the sense of well-being that people felt when my grandmother helped them was incredibly fulfilling, and their gratitude was heartwarming.
Years later, as an adult, I decided to start my own business to be closer to my family and have more time for my teenage children. It was a defining moment when I followed my intuition and decided to turn my childhood experience into a profession. I searched, studied, and prepared myself, and with many dreams and faith in God, I opened Nirvanna Spa.
- What services do you offer?
Customized massage services, sound healing rituals, temazcal experiences, hydrating and detoxifying body treatments, and physiotherapy; all with the purpose of physical, spiritual, and energetic WELLNESS.
- Tell me a bit about your background in this industry.
I have been very fortunate; although every year has been challenging, providing honest, professional, and heartfelt service has gifted me many friends, acquaintances, and compliments over 20 years! Now, with my children and all of us working together, it has brought our family closer, and with all my therapist colleagues, recognition and gratitude. This industry is the most benevolent; providing well-being, working for the health of others, and making a living from it... IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
Even in these challenging times, we continue to walk steadily forward, thanks to our constant preparation, study, and induction of our team of therapists and physiotherapists. We strive to remain relevant and the preferred choice for our friends in Sayulita and all visitors.

- What does your business offer that separates it from the rest?
Our beautiful therapists, the professionalism of our services, the warmth and quality of everyone when executing each of our services, and the honest love for what we do.
- What are your future plans for your business?
A new location! After 20 years, a new, bigger, and more comfortable location for our visitors and friends.
- Any new goals?
Many more things! More preparation and specialization for our physiotherapy area. We are working on a menu of facials and body shaping, and many more surprises that we will be announcing very soon.
- Can you share a happy memory with a client?
There have been so many over the years. I like it when after one or five years, they come back to Sayulita and come again to us, and they remember us. One very funny and recurrent thing is when, after their massage, they ask me: "Are you some kind of medium?"
- Is there anything special that you want to share?
