We had the pleasure of being served the most beautiful dining experience at Sueños Creative Cuisine & Cocktails in Sayulita. It began with an introduction to Chef Andrea who carefully explained each dish he served us with meticulous precision, his passion for culinary art and his presence in the kitchen are most definitely displayed in the food.  We started with a fresh dorado ceviche, fish laminates, peach, red onion and fennel layed on a beetroot, coconut reduction topped with cilantro oil and served with sweet potato chips. We then tried the new duck dish, confit duck leg, brussel sprout leaf,…

The pumpkin spice loaf is here! It’s officially Autumn in Sayulita which doesn’t exactly mean whipping out your wooly hats, but, it does mean relatively cooler weather. Set aside. Step 2 Add butter to a saucepan and place over medium heat. The butter will begin to crackle and then foam. Make sure you whisk constantly during this process. After a couple of minutes,…

Everything has a vibrational frequency, including ourselves, and thus makes sense that sound frequencies impact how we feel. That is why a particular song, sound, or type of music often brings about specific kinds of emotions from within. Sound healing, which is an ancient healing technique that uses tonal frequencies to bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony, works on humans on such a deep level; due to the amount of water we are made up of. We are perfect conductors of sound. Natacha, the founder of Wave Elements,  kindly spoke to us about her business…

Si Señor joined the Sayulita community in 2018, offering up some of the most beautiful views on the oceanfront, right on the south side of the beach. This wonderful addition to Sayulita is definitely worth a visit, whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner spot or drinks for a girl’s night out. We got in touch with Vanessa Arriaga, marketing, and image manager, and here’s what she had to say. 1. Can you tell me a bit about Si Señor?  Sayulita´s best-kept secret is Si Señor, located on the road to Los Muertos beach. We offer authentic Mexican food with…

This year the Dia de Los Muertos celebrations have brought back so much joy and excitement to Sayulita after being unable to celebrate the past 2 years due to the pandemic. The festivities came at a time when the community needed to be uplifted, just a week after being hit by a category 4 hurricane. What a welcome into high season! Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration of both life and death, it is an incredibly beautiful tradition that is held all over Mexico on the 1st and 2nd of November. The festivities are a tribute to lost loved…
